The End of All Vocalists

The End All

Check out the new release from 141414 (the netlabel who doesn’t use Creative Commons); Between Cathedrals latest eP The End All. A vibrating electronic harmony, perfect for hot suburban summer afternoons (or wherever you are). A somewhat mellower release than other tunes from Between Cathedrals. And I like it a lot. Especially the title track with it’s Aphex Twin-ambiance and it’s clear beat. I really loved Keeping Winter Cold, which is a more beating and blazing kind of electro, but I appreciate that Between Cathedrals is taking his music to another point or level.

The fives songs of The End All reminds me of why a love electronic music. Electronica can build soundscapes in a way where other genres fail. I love the absence of words and vocals which bring a peaceful resting ground for moan-tired ears. It is the ambiance, the mood, the world in your speakers and in your head. The pictures produced in your mind.

  2. Word up. I’ve had it with uninspired lyrics.
